Marketing Awareness Workshop

5 and 12 July 2014 – DCC Conference Room

Phendula Training and Consulting was selected once again by DCC to offer a 2 – Day Marketing Awareness Workshop to 13 SMMEs in Construction business. The Workshop covered the following topics : Defining a Customer ; customer life-cycle ; consumer behaviour ; market segmentation ; 7Ps of Marketing ; marketing strategy and Networking tips to mention but a few.

It was a good blend of delegates covering almost all areas of building and construction which included plumbers ; architects ;land surveyors ; electricians ; builders  and project managers .

Let me indicate that 2 days  is not enough to cover crucial aspects of Marketing, so the workshop becomes merely an awareness event. Most candidates had basic tools such as Business Cards , Letterheads but could do better with registered domains and websites.

It was indeed a fantastic program and DCC representative ( Mr Dumile Khubone and Mrs Nanana Sabela) were with us on both days. We hope Durban Chamber Mentors will take the marketing process to greater heights and we will see SMMEs accessing more markets.
