NDA – Project Management Training 10 – 12 February ’14 – Mthunzini

Project Management Training and Mentorship for Zululand NGOs was successfully completed.
24 delegates from Inkandla ; Mondlo ; Ulundi ; Melmoth and Nongoma spent 3 days @ Mthunzini , Tradewinds Country Inn.
The 3-day facilitation was filled with idea sharing ; presentations ; and exchange of information withing NGOs and within the group. Delegates showed a huge enthusiasm designing their own projects and presenting their cases.
Reading from evaluation forms , most practitioners indicated the excitement on the newly acquired information and said that they will be going back to their organizations to start and manage Projects better than they have been doing.

The 3-day facilitation was followed by Mentorship a week later.

Phendula team later followed up with the mentorship of 10 NPOs at their sites . The clusters visited 20 on February 2014 were Ulundi ; Nongoma and Melmoth. We found that most delegates had not reported back to their committees on Project Management training.
Our team witnessed a huge commitment and dedication of NGOs judging from the conditions they were working from.
Some people are sincerely selfless and determined to improve the lives of their communities at whatever the costs.
