23 delegates for Zululand attended a 3-day training on Resource Mobilization. The NGOs were excited about the topic a deemed it necessary for their organizations since they believed funding was the most urgent resource for their survival and existence.

At the expectations outlined  , it was clear that practitioners desperately needed funds since almost all of them indicated that they wanted to know how to develop a proposal and where they would find donors. The group was well balanced since it included it some NGOs that have received funding before and those who have never been funded.

The workshop created a networking opportunity for NGOs. At the end of the training , delegates were given application forms from different corporate sponsors for funding, that added value to the practitioners since they had to go back a practically develop proposals and submit their applications.

The workshop was filled with excitement of activities ; presentations ; role play ; debates and constructive discussions.
