Transnet (Durban) through their Enterprise Development unit, awarded Bosch Ulwazi (Pty) Ltd the contract to implement the ED programme for 12 months. Bosch then requested 5 service providers (including Phendula) to run the project on their behalf.

Phendula was tasked to look into Operations side of all the 8 Businesses. We had to do site visits, report and recommend strategies for improvement.

Amongst other things we looked at were but not limited to:- Food Safety; Personal Safety; Job Descriptions; Tooling ; Facilities Layout ;Space Planning ;Maintenance ;Material Management; Installation Tools ;Installation of equipment ;Job Design ;Operations Strategy ;Security ;Job Descriptions ;Tooling ;Facilities Layout ;Space Planning ;Maintenance ;Process Flow Plans ;Location Analysis and environmental Safety to mentioned but the few.
