Entrepreneurship Workshop , Umbumbulu

This was the 2nd time Phendula was appointed by Durban Chamber to run such a workshop. Durban Chamber had initially anticipated 20 delegates but the total of 75 SMMEs turned out. This showed the demand for such workshops in the area . The Chamber was represented by the SMME Coordinator , Ms Thabisile Ntuli.

There was also a representative from Ithala Bank at the workshop. The questions ; comments ; discussions during the workshop created an opportunity beyond the workshop but also for sharing ideas and networking.

Our workshop covered , in most parts , the characteristics of an entrepreneur ; viability of an idea ; marketing the business ; understanding the difference between the idea and the opportunity. We thank Durban Chamber for contributing to the enterprise development in the rural communities.
