Ward Committee Training – 4 Days

This was a 4 -day course split into two. There was a big turnout. Phendula was appointed to train 170 Ward Committee member (including councilors and local leaders ) on Standard Operating Procedures for Ward Committees ; Meeting Procedures ; Roles and responsibilities of different portfolios ; Election Procedures ; Budgets and IDP.

There is a huge need for these kind of workshops but we believe they will have a better impact if number per group are reduced maybe to 20 to encourage participation and pay attention to individuals. The Ward Committee member gave Phendula “thumbs up” and requested that more of such workshops be organized.
