On the 3rd and 4th of April 2019, Phendula had an opportunity to facilitate Employment Equity training for 12 delegates. The purpose of this Act is to achieve equity in the workplace by promoting equal opportunities and fair treatment in employment through the elimination of unfair discrimination and the implementation of affirmative action measures to redress the disadvantages in employment. The facilitator was Mr Thulani Makhanya and the delegates gave positive feedback on the training.
